Every once in a while, a horse comes through the barn that makes everyone stop and say, "Wow." Tuck is one of those horses.

Standing 16.2h, this handsome Quarter Horse/Friesian gelding is quite simply one of the coolest, most versatile horses I've had the pleasure of working with. If you're looking for a horse that can truly do a little bit of everything while taking care of his rider every step of the way, Tuck deserves a serious look.

Over the years, Tuck has done just about everything you can imagine. He's fox hunted in third flight, trail ridden extensively, jumped, schooled dressage, sorted cattle, and is equally happy heading out for an adventure or spending time in the arena. And if that isn't enough, he even knows tricks—yes, really. He will lay down and sit on cue, making him as entertaining as he is talented.

Tuck is the definition of safe. He is kind, trustworthy, and uncomplicated, with the type of temperament that is increasingly difficult to find. He hacks out confidently, enjoys having a job, and is just as content quietly strolling down the trail on a loose rein.

On the ground, he is an absolute gentleman. Sweet, personable, and easy to have in the barn, he's the kind of horse everyone gravitates toward. He turns out happily alone or with friends, is an easy keeper, and requires very little fuss.

Truthfully, if I had room, this one wouldn't be leaving. Horses like Tuck don't come along very often.
