Price Discipline “Price”
2019 Thoroughbred Chestnut Gelding | 16.1½h

If you're looking for a big-bodied, kind, uncomplicated gelding with a great brain and an even better personality, Price deserves a look!

Price is a lovely, amateur-owned Thoroughbred who has been thoughtfully started and brought along. He has a naturally laid-back disposition, an in-your-pocket personality, and is just about as easy as they come on the ground. He's the type of horse who makes life simple, whether you're grooming, tacking up, or just enjoying time at the barn.

Under saddle, Price is quiet, straightforward, and forgiving. He enjoys hacking out and has been schooled cross-country by his amateur owner through 2'3", as well as jumping courses from 2'–2'3". He's particularly good with nervous or less confident riders, always looking to get to the other side of the fence without making a big production of it. He has a fantastic trot jump and is happy to quietly pop around smaller fences.

We could easily see Price thriving in a lesson program, with an adult amateur looking for a safe and enjoyable all-around partner, or with someone wanting a horse to hack, take lessons on, and enjoy over fences. He's not a horse who needs a complicated program or a professional ride to be enjoyable.

Price is also an incredibly easy keeper with good feet and a big, substantial build. He currently turns out with geldings, is happy living out 24/7, or is equally content coming into a stall.

As with all of our horses, we believe in complete transparency and are happy to discuss his minimal maintenance needs with prospective buyers. His price reflects the maintenance required to keep him happy and comfortable in his work.

Good brain, good feet, great personality, and a horse who genuinely wants to please.
