If you’re looking for a kind, safe, been-there-done-that partner with a beautiful way of going on the flat, Monkey deserves a look.

Monkey is a lovely, well-educated gelding who we could really see thriving in a dressage-focused or primarily flatwork home. He is comfortable, straightforward, and enjoyable to ride, with a great brain and the type of temperament that makes him an easy horse to have in the barn. He has a lead change, is responsive without being overly sensitive, and gives his rider a really nice feel.

While Monkey has plenty of experience over fences — including a USEF record through 2’9” in the hunters — we think his next chapter could be especially well suited to someone looking for a quality flat partner. He would be a fun option for an adult amateur wanting to continue developing in dressage, enjoy clinics and lessons, hack out, and have a safe, reliable horse to enjoy every day.

He hacks out, is great off property, and has a sweet, personable disposition on the ground. He’s the kind of horse who appreciates having his person and a consistent program.

Coming off a summer lease and ready to find his forever home. Monkey has a recent PPE from his lease and is ready to go.
