Entrust “Marco”
2020 Thoroughbred Chestnut Gelding | 16.2h

Marco is a talented, athletic gelding with three quality gaits, plenty of scope, and a brave attitude toward his work. He has all the makings of a competitive eventer or show jumper, with the versatility to be someone's all-around partner as well. Whether you're an amateur working with a professional to bring along your next prospect or a professional looking for a talented horse to produce up the levels, Marco has a lot to offer.

We've spent a good amount of time focusing on groundwork and building a relationship with Marco, and it's been incredibly rewarding to watch his personality come through. He's a horse who genuinely wants to bond with his person and thrives in a one-on-one environment where he can build trust and confidence. He can take a little time to warm up, but once you've earned his trust, he has such a fun personality.

Under saddle, Marco is brave, eager to learn, and has a fantastic work ethic. He's the type who wants to get to the other side of the fence and has plenty of athletic ability to back it up. He's done cross-country schooling and has one USEA Beginner Novice event under his belt. He's ready for someone to pick up the reins, continue his education, and see just how far his talent can take him.

Marco is straightforward to manage, has good feet, requires no maintenance, and goes in a snaffle bridle. He enjoys turnout with other geldings, prefers having buddies, and is typically the low man in the herd.

We think Marco could be a really rewarding partner for an amateur in a consistent program who enjoys the process of developing a young horse, while having more than enough talent and scope for a professional with competitive ambitions. He's not just a horse with potential; he's a horse looking for his person to bring that potential to life.

Marco's current owner has made the decision to step away from riding at this stage in her life and is eager to find him his next person. His price reflects her desire to see him settled into a wonderful new home sooner rather than later, offering someone a fantastic opportunity to bring along a talented young horse with loads of potential.
