If you're looking for a young horse with all the quality in the world AND a brain to match, Jose Cuervo deserves to be at the top of your list!

This handsome boy is truly something special. Purpose-bred for dressage, Jose has beautiful, quality gaits, a lovely way of going, and he LOVES to jump! He has a naturally correct jump with lovely hunter style and plenty of potential to develop. Whether your goals are dressage, hunters, eventing, or simply having a really nice all-around partner, Jose could go in just about any direction.

What really sets this horse apart is his brain. For a young horse, Jose is incredibly sensible, willing, and uncomplicated. He is genuinely amateur friendly, and we've had all sorts of riders on him without him batting an eye. He takes everything in stride, wants to please, and has the kind of temperament that makes you forget you're sitting on a young horse.

And when I say he's versatile, I mean it! Jose has done everything from schooling dressage shows to hacking around Fair Hill, cow sorting, jumping, and just about anything else you can think of. He happily hacks out alone or in a group and is just as content leading the way as he is following behind.

On the ground, he's an absolute puppy dog. In-your-pocket personality, incredibly charming, and always looking for attention. He's also ridiculously handsome, which certainly doesn't hurt! He's an easy keeper, barefoot, and uncomplicated to manage. He has happily lived on individual or group turnout and does well with either day or night turnout.

Jose is the kind of horse I think so many amateurs are searching for. Young enough to make your own, quality enough to be competitive, versatile enough to try just about anything, and most importantly, a genuinely GOOD brain. He has all the ingredients to make someone an absolutely wonderful longtime partner.

I have a feeling this handsome boy won't be taking up a stall in my barn for very long!
